About the Event
To be held annually in honour of the much missed ABCC Chairman and
RGC Committee member.
To be held in 2020 on Sunday April 5 th at RGC (tee times from TBC)
Played over 12 holes at RGC
Open to all members and affiliated members of ABCC and members of RGC.
No more than 5 clubs and a putter permitted and players should carry wherever possible (in the true spirit of golf as played by John Alexander)
Scoring method yet to be revealed in an effort to be fair to all entrants whatever their level of play.
Prizes for nearest the pin, 2’s and the longest drive
£15 per person (£10 of which goes to Charity)
Presentation of the Trophy in the clubhouse after the event
Food and refreshment provided
(A quaich, archaically quaigh or quoich, is a special kind of shallow two-handled drinking
cup or bowl in Scotland. It derives from the Scottish Gaelic cuach meaning a cup.)
