The 10th Annual Astwood Bank Beer Festival

This weekend sees the return of the Famous Astwood Bank Beer Festival and this time its special, its our 10th anniversary!

To mark this occasion we have some special events and also for the first time we also now have a ™ Take Away Beer Service. To use this you will need to bring ideally a Beer Growler or failing that a washed out milk container, saucepan or simply cup your hands.

The event will be held at the Cricket club and across 5 days:

• Thursday Launch evening – CAMRA and Company Night (doors open 6pm)

  • CAMRA (Campaign For Real ALe) night

  • If you are a businesses in need of a long overdue get together you are also welcome!

  • Mini Bankers and Biggy Bankers Training is on as usual so maybe invite those aunts, uncles and grand parents as well

  • BBQ

• Friday Evening – Junior Training Friends and Family evening (doors open 6pm)

  • Our usual night of junior fun but please feel free to invite friends, family, mistresses, sugar daddies and even your estate agent 😊

  • BBQ

• Saturday El ClasCricko – Astwood Bank 1st Xl v Redditch 1st Xl everyone welcome (doors open 11am)

  • Our local derby and should be a great day

  • Bring your drinking squad, scarves, rattles (and wicker picnic baskets)

• Sunday - the Perky Family Christening (doors open 3pm)

  • Although this is a private function Perky was keen to point out he would love to see as many people there as we can so pop in for a pint or use our Take Away Beer Service.

• Bank Holiday Monday -The Hundred Festival (doors open 11am)

  • In the spirit of our new found favourite format of the game (apologies JD, but its true) we have our own very first tournament

  • 4 teams exclusively of Bankers young and old, current and former players

  • DJ playing music, PA system, walk on songs... walk off songs

We have an incredible menu of drinks for you to try with each and every one of them being sourced from the coolest local only breweries, on sale will be:

• Over 30 real Ales, Lagers & Ciders ALL £3 a pint

• Boutique Gins and Rums

• A selection of Wines

• Soft Drinks

• Commemorative Glasses will also be on sale at £3 each
