Volunteers Week

1st June - 7th June is #VolunteersWeek. To celebrate it we are shining the spotlight each day on some of our members who go above and beyond to make our club great. Let’s show them our appreciation.

To start us off are husband and wife, Ben and Michelle Oakey.

Ben Oakey - 39 and half years old

Michelle Oakey - 38 years old

▪️Parent Liaison

▪️Junior sub-committee member

▪️Bar volunteer

▪️Ladies toilet unlocker 🤦‍♀️

▪️We have been at ABCC for about 3 year's.

▪️Son plays for U10's

▪️Daughter loves Bambino Banker's

What do you like about being a volunteer at ABCC?

▪️ We all love going to cricket, it's a family affair 🥰 it's a great social, friendly environment and rewarding to see the children having fun whilst developing their skills and confidence in a sport we all love 🏏

If more people at ABCC became involved as volunteers how would that help the club?

▪️New volunteers would help the club continue to grow. It would enable the club to host more social occasions, games and generally make the ABCC family bigger ❤️
