Volunteers week

Our 4th volunteer of the week is a man that always has a smile on his face to greet the kids for every coaching session , despite being a Norwich City supporter . He has thrown himself into ABCC life with the kind of passion and enthusiasm usually only seen during a rousing Delia Smith half time motivational speech .

Name

Jonathan Howes

Have only been involved at the club for just over 12 months and got involved after my two sons were keen to start learning the game. Heard some great things about ABCC (all of which were true!)

Role at Club

· Mini Bankers/Allstars Activator

· Friday Night support coach

· Clubs Safeguarding Officer

· Junior sub-committee member

· Retired from playing but might have a few games for 4ths/5ths this year, bad back permitting…

What do you like about being a volunteer at ABCC?

Playing a small part in creating the great atmosphere and environment where youngsters can have fun learning the great game.

If more people at ABCC became involved as volunteers how would that help the club?

As most sport clubs, the club is indebted to a core group of volunteers. More volunteers would help ensure the club continues to grow and is able to offer the great cricket experience it does for many years to come.
