Women’s team confirm our overseas player for the 2023 season

The club are delighted to announce that Ella Drumm will be joining us from New Zealand from the end of June. As an all rounder she plays for Parnell CC in Auckland and represents Ortaga Sparks in the New Zealand Women's A league. Having studied business and finance for the last three years Ella will be joining us before heading to Durham University in September.

Our Women's 1st team captain Clare Boycott was delighted with the news and said ' it's an exciting opportunity to have an overseas player and helps us to further push for promotion this season'.

Our new women's coach Jim Pyatt also added ' at a time when the club has announced our first ever Women's 2nd team it's great that we can add yet another young talented cricketer to an already strong group of players.

The club are still looking for help with accommodation for part of her stay so if you live in the village and have a spare room please get in contact with Martin Ward - Head of Women's & Girls
